I’m going to make this shirt and sweet. This isn’t really going to be a blog post, per say, this is going to be a straight up bitching post. Because it’s my site and I can.
Nothing on the planet drives me more crazy than someone who is 1) lazy or 2) complains they don’t have enough time.
Why am I posting this? Because for the past six+ months, I’ve been adding working on my Nana’s home to my weekly tasks. Sundays have been the day of choice the past few weeks.
Why? Because I’m able to. Because I care about her well being and happiness. Because I cherish the time I get with my 80 year old Nana. Because I appreciate her stories, wisdom and advice. Because I can drive 200+ miles a week to paint a room or unpack some boxes for her. Because I’ve gotten closer to my own mom.
If you say you “don’t have enough time” to do whatever it is that you need to do, I call bullshit. You’re a shitty liar, you’re fucking lazy and you don’t have your priorities in order.
You make time because you WANT to or because you NEED to. If you’re not making time for the people and/or things that are important to you, then you have a priority problem. You should check your priorities and get them in order, especially if you parade acting like something is important to you when it’s CLEARLY not.
And again, if you’re lazy, just fuck you. Get off your stupid ass and lend a hand. Quit being a shit parent, a shit part of a family and a shit friend. It’ll amaze you how quickly your life improves when you learn how to help and people then appreciate you, rather than overlook you because they know you’re a lazy, useless piece of shit 🙃
I can work a more than full time physical job, have an hour+ commute every day, study for my PT/CNC certs, maintain a pristine home, keep my boyfriend and dog happy, meal prep for my family, workout or run an hour or so a day AND maintain a social life. All while making at least a little time for my Nana and Mom every week.
