Happy Saturday, folks! I’m going to make this one short and sweet today. I’m going to share with you how to make a super quick, healthy smoothie! This smoothie has healthy protein, carbs, fats and veggies, all jam packed into one delicious and green package!

I woke up early this morning, knocked out my WOD then made this smoothie, along with a pot of coffee. I lit my favorite scented candle and then sat on the couch, snuggled up with Harve and a book. Then, I knocked out an hour or so of reading and then started working on my daily goal list. It was a perfect, snowy Saturday morning. I love making this before work in the AM and drinking it on my commute.

I’m all about efficiency, if you haven’t caught on yet 🙂

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup of Frozen Fruit (or fresh fruit, however you roll)
  • 3/4 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp of Natural PB (Creamy or Crunchy, up to you!)
  • 1 Scoop of Collagen (I use 1st Phorm Unflavored Collagen)
  • 1/2 Cup of Water
  • A Handful or Two of Spinach

This is seriously so easy.

Throw all your ingredients, except for the spinach, into a blender and blend it to your desired consistency. Once you have it where you want it, add as much spinach your heart desires and blend some more! I love a lot of spinach in mine because it’s full of nutrients and really has no noticeable taste. The frozen fruit acts as ice and will keep it chilled for quite awhile. Pour it in your favorite glass, shaker cup, bowl, etc and enjoy! Sometimes, I’ll sprinkle a little FlavorGod Chocolate Donut seasoning (aff link) on top, just because it’s so damn good.

The recipe is super customizable: change your fruits, your nut butters, even your veggies and make it all your own. Give this super quick, healthy smoothie a shot and then show me yours!
